In her riding, party leaders back Danielle Smith

Premier Danielle Smith says United Conservative Party policy is settled after three-quarters of Albertans voted against pursuing a binding referendum on separation, according to preliminary results. Leaders in her home riding are backing her calls for pro-independence voices to be muted within the party as a provincial election approaches in 2027.
