Hail, strong winds hit Calgary as severe thunderstorm rolls through

A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for the Calgary area shortly after 1 p.m. Thursday, and Environment Canada said the storm could produce very strong wind gusts, up to nickel-sized hail and heavy rain.
