Edmonton city council passes Rossdale rezoning motion during public hearing

Edmonton city council has voted in favour of an administration proposal to create special zones that would see rezoning to allow for increased building heights. The future of Rossdale was up for debate on Monday at city council's public hearing. However the proposal to create special zones was opposed by nearly 20 residents who spoke at the meeting.
