Current budget only tackles a fraction of Edmonton’s problem crosswalks

There are 659 locations that need crosswalk upgrades but a report says only 70 will be done by the end of the year. The cost to upgrade the remaining 589 is $58 million. At $2 million per year, it would take 29 years to do the rest.
