Can superworms solve our plastic problems?

Canadians throw away more than three-million tonnes of plastic waste every year.To help tackle the growing problem, researchers in Edmonton are exploring whether superworms could be used to digest certain plastics — keeping it out of the landfill. Edmonton AM host Mark Connolly sat down with a lead researcher to dig into the possibilities.
