6 tornadoes swept through Alberta’s Peace region last week, researchers say

The total tornado-count for the northwestern Alberta storms that took place on June 15th have increased following field-work from the Northern Tornado Project. This makes the June-night a very rare occasion in which the Peace Region experienced what experts call a "tornado outbreak".
