South Stormont Fun Raisers donate $40,000 toward bandshell in Long Sault

LONG SAULT — The South Stormont Fun Raisers club said thank you to the community on Saturday for supporting it through its-four year campaign to raise money for a new bandshell. At a Christmas celebration at the South Stormont Community Hall in Long Sault, the Fun Raisers presented a cheque for $40,000 to the township to be used to help support the project. “The goal was to help build a bandshell for the community because our thought is that it is the gift that keeps on giving,&rdquo
