Queen Street sidewalk project in Cornwall moves forward

Cornwall councillors voted to move forward with the Queen Street sidewalk project as it was originally planned. The project was deferred during the April 29 council meeting. It was Coun. Dean Hollingsworth who 
brought the deferral motion forward
 after hearing from 
residents who were concerned about how close the sidewalk would be to their house
. On May 16, council received a detailed report related to the project and brief a presentation from Cornwall general manager of infras
