Cornwall Ontario – The RCMP swooped in and charged 16 people today as they attempt to bust an alleged tobacco smuggling network.
Police are stating that the ring operates mainly out of the Akwesasne territory in NY to Kahnawake via Lac St. François.
The police reported over 150 deliveries by boat were monitored.The Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service, Sûreté du Québec & officers from Montreal, St-Eustache, Longueuil and Thérèse-De Bla
