North Glengarry inks rescue service agreement with Ottawa Fire Services

NORTH GLENGARRY — North Glengarry council has approved fire chief Matthew Roy’s recommendation to enter an agreement with Ottawa Fire Services for specialized rescue services that cannot be provided by the township department.Through the agreement, Ottawa Fire Services will provide specialized rescue services, at North Glengarry’s request, for technical rope, confined space, trench, grain bin or silo, machinery rescue and supplement water/ice rescue.
