Last of the code talkers

The last living Mohawk code talker, Louis Levi Oakes, received the New York State Liberty Medal at the legion in St. Regis New York on Friday afternoon. Dozens of people came out to watch the elaborate military ceremony held in the garden outside the legion building, as passing motorists honked their support.
