EVB makes progress on updated design for Alexandria's Main Street

The next stage of Alexandria’s long-awaited Main Street redevelopment is beginning to take shape. SDG council approved an action request at its regular meeting on Feb. 2, accepting a revised design proposal from EVB Engineering. The revised proposal comes roughly a year since council approved the transportation department’s request to work with EVB Engineering, after a falling-out between the former engineering firm, Jacobs Engineering, and municipal staff in North Glengarry and SDG.
