Cornwall police lay weapons, breach charge against man

A 40-year-old man from Cornwall is facing three charges after police responded to a report of people fighting on Saturday.Police alleged the man breached his probation when he brandished an edged weapon toward another man.The man was charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose; and, two counts of breach of probation for possessing a weapon, and failing to keep the peace.He was released from police custody to appear in Cornwall court on Sept. 10.
