Cornwall police charge woman with fraud, theft

A 33-year-old woman from Cornwall is facing two charges tied to several police investigations. Police alleged the woman accepted payment for an item she sold online to someone on Aug. 27, 2021, but then failed to provide the buyer the purchased products. A warrant was issued for her arrest. Police also alleged the woman removed merchandise from a Brookdale Avenue business on Thursday without paying for it. She was later located by officers and taken into custody.
