Cornwall police charge teen with assault causing bodily harm

A 14-year-old girl is facing a charge after police investigated a complaint. Police alleged the teen assaulted someone she knows on Dec. 1, injuring the other person. She was taken into custody at police headquarters on Wednesday. The teen, whose identity cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was charged with assault causing bodily harm. She was released from police custody to appear in Cornwall court at an undisclosed later date.
