Cornwall police charge man with harassing, threatening grandmother

A 20-year-old man from Akwesasne is facing six charges after police responded to a family dispute call on Saturday.Police alleged the man breached his probation when he went to his grandmother’s residence and threatened to damage her property. Police alleged the man had previously damaged the woman’s property, and engaged in threatening conduct to the point the woman feared for her safety.The man was charged with criminal harassment — threatening conduct; mischief under $5,000
