Cornwall police charge man with assault, fraud, thefts, possession, breaches

A 33-year-old man from Akwesasne is facing 14 charges stemming from several police investigations. Police alleged the man removed merchandise from several businesses on Second Street East on Oct. 25, Oct. 27, and Nov. 9, and that he assaulted a loss-prevention officer before fleeing the scene during the most-recent event.
