Citizens for Marshland Conservation wins provincial award

A grassroots conservation group based in Cornwall and SDG has achieved provincial recognition. The Citizens for Marshland Conservation (CMC) have been named the recipient for the 2025 Steve Hounsell greenway award, as part of Ontario Nature’s conservation awards. “This achievement truly reflects the hard work and commitment of our entire team,” said CMC board chair Yvon Duchesne. According to Melina Damián, a spokesperson from Ontario Nature, the Steve Hounsell greenway
