Cargo ship Federal Biscay freed from Snell Lock near Cornwall

The ship trapped by ice in theentrance to the Snell Lock on theAmerican side of the St. LawrenceRiver since New Year’s Day was finallyfreed on Saturday afternoon. TheFederal Biscay is now tied upalongside the approach to the lock andis being inspected for damage.
