A spectacular third Canadian Armed Forces Day touches down in Cornwall

The sights and sounds in downtown Cornwall were spectacular on Saturday.It was the third-annual Canadian Armed Forces Day festivities, with the large field in the bandshell area lined with impressive military equipment, musical performances on the stage, and the boom and thunder of ceremonial firings of Napoleonic-era cannons.It all went down under blue skies on a sun-splashed afternoon that drew big crowds to Lamoureux Park.“This is such a beautiful day for this,” said Cornwall May
