Update: Power still off hours after downed tree causes outage in Harrison, Agassiz

UPDATE: Power is expected to be restored by 10:45 p.m. Sunday night.
HARRISON HOT SPRINGS — A downed tree across BC Hydro power lines has left over 1,700 customers without power in Harrison Hot Springs and parts of Agassiz Sunday afternoon.
According to the BC Hydro dashboard, 1,727 customers lost power at 4:18 p.m. Sunday afternoon due to a downed tree across hydro lines.
The outage covers most of Harrison Hot Springs, Rockwell Drive along Harrison Lake, and extends south along Highway 9
