Towering defenceman returns to the Chilliwack Chiefs

CHILLIWACK — A towering defenceman who made his mark with the Chiefs during their extended playoff run last season is back on the ice with the Chilliwack Chiefs.
In a statement Tuesday, the Chiefs say they are excited to welcome back veteran defenceman Jayden Veney, a 6-foot-7, 223-pound physical presence who began the 2025-26 season with the Youngstown Phantoms before rejoining the Chiefs.
