Prison officials report inmate death in Agassiz

AGASSIZ — Corrections Canada has confirmed the death of an inmate at Kent Institution in Agassiz.
Assistant Warden Kim MacPherson says that Said Egal died on Saturday while serving a seven-year sentence.
MacPherson says a review of the circumstances surrounding Egal’s death will be conducted.
