FVRD encounters HR challenges as applicants flake out during the recruitment process

CHILLIWACK — The Fraser Valley Regional District says it continues to experience challenges around recruitment due to a lack of experienced candidates or people flaking out during the application process.In a staff memo authored by Tina Mooney, FVRD manager of human resources and safety services, the district says it has posted 22 positions in 2024 thus far, but applicants aren’t doing themselves any favours by failing to respond to interview invites, rescheduling interviews multiple
