Fire in Silver Creek area of Hope Tuesday night reportedly burns several homes

HOPE — The Hope Fire Department was dispatched to the Silver Creek area of Hope Tuesday night after a fire erupted in a neighbourhood just south of Highway 1.A fire broke out at a home near the area of Marie Street and Old Yale Road sometime after 7 p.m. Tuesday (Aug. 22) and burned three homes, according to witness Meadow Ouellet, who added that one home had just been built and completed this year.At least four engines from the Hope Fire Department were deployed to fight the massive blaze
