Fire breaks out at Chilliwack church Monday

CHILLIWACK — Multiple Chilliwack Fire Department engines and personnel were dispatched Monday afternoon after a fire broke out at Cross Connection Church, 9310 Williams Street, in Chilliwack.Firefighters spent over an hour tackling the two-alarm blaze, deploying a ladder to attack flames on the roof of the older church.The fire broke out sometime after 2:30 p.m. Monday and attracted several engines and units.
