Downed tree causes major power outage near Harrison Sunday

HARRISON HOT SPRINGS — A downed tree across BC Hydro power lines has left over 1,700 customers without power in Harrison Hot Springs and parts of Agassiz Sunday afternoon.
According to the BC Hydro dashboard, 1,727 customers lost power at 4:18 p.m. Sunday afternoon due to a downed tree across hydro lines.The outage covers most of Harrison Hot Springs, Rockwell Drive along the lake, and extends south along Highway 9 to an area northwest of Agassiz city centre.Crews have been assigned and ar
