Chiefs split weekend series with Coquitlam Express

CHILLIWACK – The Chilliwack Chiefs split a two-game home-and-home series with BCHL Coastal East leaders, the Coquitlam Express, Friday and Saturday.
After a goal six minutes into the third period at the Chilliwack Coliseum Saturday night, the home team appeared to be headed for a series sweep before goals from Coquitlam’s Ryan Staples and Joseph Odyniec completed a 4-3 Express comeback.
Odyniec’s goal came late with just 14 seconds left in the third.
