American busted at Abbotsford border crossing for bringing prohibited guns into Canada

ABBOTSFORD — An American with an affinity for guns may live to regret his ill-advised attempt to cross into Canada with a cache of prohibited firearms in his vehicle earlier this year.In a news release Tuesday (Aug. 22), Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced that it has laid charges for Criminal Code and Customs Act offences against a US traveller following a firearms seizure at the Abbotsford-Huntingdon port of entry in British Columbia.
