2nd ER closure in 3 days at Merritt hospital, 18th this year alone

MERRITT — For the second time in three days, Merritt residents have been impacted by a disruption to emergency room services at Nicola Valley Hospital.
Interior Health announced the closure would begin Monday evening (Nov.18) at 7 p.m. and remain in affect until 8 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19.
As has been the case recently, Interior Health did not give an explanation for the 18th emergency room closure of 2024.
