Teen charged after threatening online messages

A teenager is charged after a reference was made online about a potential shooting at a Chatham high school.Around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, concerning online messages involving John McGregor secondary school were reported to Chatham-Kent police.“Images of firearms had been shared in a Snapchat group conversation involving several students, along with comments referencing a potential shooting at the school,” police said Friday.Police spoke with three youths involved in the conversation.
