Mike Currie Memorial hits the trail at Mud Creek

The fourth annual Mike Currie Memorial for Special Olympics Ontario took to the trail at Mud Creek Park in Chatham this weekend.Forty people of all ages participated in Saturday’s event, either walking, running or on two wheels, with the aim of bringing together law enforcement, families, athletes, and the overall community for the cause.Currie, who was a retired Chatham-Kent police officer and long-time cancer survivor, died in the fall of 2022.
