High school students run successful Relay for Life event; learn life lessons

A student-led Relay for Life event organized by a Grade 12 leadership class at Blenheim District secondary school more than doubled its fundraising goal.More than $18,100 was raised for the Canadian Cancer Society from the recent event, surpassing the fundraising $8,000 goal, said a Lambton Kent District school board media release.The student-planned event that ran more than 12 hours, included students participating in games, activities, doing laps around the track, sharing meals and having &ld
