Garage fire quickly doused

Firefighters from Chatham Stations No. 1 and No. 2 put out a garage fire at 7631 Grande River Line around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.The garage, containing two vehicles, was engulfed in flames but was quickly contained, the fire department said.Damage is estimated at $250,000.
