Chatham-Kent kidney walk set for Sept. 20

Chatham is one of many Ontario communities participating in the annual Kidney Walk in September. The local event from the Kidney Foundation of Canada will be held Sept. 20 at Mud Creek Park. Registration is at 12 p.m. with a 1 p.m. start time. Held in 30 locations in Ontario, the Kidney Walk is meant to raise funds for the foundation while recognizing people with kidney disease, celebrating a transplant or honouring the memory of loved ones, a release from the foundation said. “It’s
