'To avoid scandal': Unearthed letters show how N.L. bishop handled allegations in Baie Verte

A new court action in Grand Falls-Windsor has unearthed letters showing how a Catholic church official moved a priest to an Ontario treatment centre following allegations involving boys in 1970 — more than 15 years before he was convicted of sexual assault.
