Shopify beats first-quarter expectations as e-commerce continues rapid expansion

In the first quarter, Shopify's revenue soared 110 per cent to $988.6 million US — above analysts' average estimate of $865.5 million. The company reiterated its stance that e-commerce growth will continue.
