Fear, sadness, and anger: Why children in N.S. government care frequently go missing

For the first time, Nova Scotia is tracking how many youth in care run away. In the last year, group homes have reported hundreds of incidents where youth went missing and were considered at “imminent risk,” a problem the provincial department in charge acknowledges is a major concern.
