Dorian, now a Category 5 hurricane, makes landfall in Bahamas

An extremely powerful, life-threatening hurricane has reached the Bahamas. The National Hurricane Center in Miami said Sunday that Hurricane Dorian made landfall in Elbow Cay, off of Grand Abaco, at 12:40 p.m. ET.
