Alberta ready for bloc-style federal party, says former MLA

A former Alberta provincial MLA is working to form a new federal party that would focus on Alberta's issues and sovereignty in the House of Commons — similar to the mandate of the Bloc Quebecois. Drew Barnes sat as a Wildrose and United Conservative MLA in provincial politics.
