Alberta ‘failed’ beef plant workers amid COVID-19 outbreak in 'preventable tragedy': report

A new report says a number of factors converged to produce a “preventable tragedy” in which two workers and four close contacts died after a massive COVID-19 outbreak at Cargill’s beef processing plant in High River, Alta., in 2020.
