Convicted murderer Nancy McKinnon is a “model inmate” who is no longer the “terrible person” she was when she orchestrated the execution of her estranged husband nearly 20 years ago, her lawyer James McLeod told a Calgary jury. He asked the panel to allow his client to apply for early parole.
