STM administrative workers accept contract offer

The 1,280 administrative workers of the Société de transport de Montréal have voted 75 per cent in favour to accept a new contract with the transit authority, the union announced Thursday. In a news release, union president Stéphane Lamont said the five-year contract maintained “good” working conditions and was satisfactory given “the very difficult context currently in the public transit sector.” The new contract covers salaries, subcontractin
