REM troubles: From service outage after truck hits rail overpass to elevator shutdowns

A section of Montreal’s REM was out of service for around two hours Tuesday morning, just three days after the network’s Deux-Montagnes extension opened to the public. The REM announced just after 7 a.m. that a truck hit a viaduct near its Bois-Franc station.
