Organization that helped Quebec schoolchildren — founded by Céline Dion's mother — will close its doors Wednesday

A foundation created by the mother of Quebec star Céline Dion to help underprivileged children succeed in school will close its doors on Wednesday, the organization announced on its Facebook page. The 20-year-old Fondation maman Dion — which provided funding for school supplies, eyeglasses and clothing for children between the ages of five and 16 — thanked the sponsors, volunteers and benefactors who supported the organization.
