Eighth measles case reported in Quebec as outbreak spreads
Quebec’s measles outbreak continues to grow. Eight measles cases were confirmed in the province on Dec. 19, Quebec’s Health Ministry reports. Lanaudière, Laurentides, Laval and Montreal are all affected by the outbreak. The outbreak has been underway since the beginning of this month, after the first case since April was reported in the Laurentians on Dec. 3.
