What you need to know about B.C. wildfires on Aug. 8

A state of emergencywas declaredby the District of Summerlandjust after 10:30 p.m. PT, due to the growing Bald Range wildfire, discovered Friday afternoon. On the northwest end of Okanagan Lake, the Bradley Creek wildfire hasn't shown much growth this week, maintaining about 28.5 square kilometres in fire perimeter.
