Summerland streetlight conversion earns rebate

More than 900 Summerland streetlights have been converted to LED bulbs, which has earned the Okanagan town a hefty rebate. FortisBC is encouraging towns to save electricity and money by offering cash-back. By 2020, enough energy could be saved in the FortisBC serviced area to power more than 400 homes.
