Penticton motel slated for demolition damaged in fire

About a dozen residents who were set to move out of the Highland Motel in Penticton Friday ended up scrambling to collect all their worldly possession when a fire broke out. A blaze started in a back bedroom of a main floor unit, according to the fire department.
