Okanagan Falls to keep name as it becomes B.C.’s first new municipality under DRIPA

The small community of Okanagan Falls is set to become a municipality known as the District of Okanagan Falls. The new municipality will retain its current name, despite earlier discussion that it could bear an Indigenous name.
